El rol del mapeo de ganglio centinela en el cáncer endometrial: Reporte de caso

Resumen

Presentamos el caso de una paciente con un carcinoma endometrioide estadio IA a la que se le realiza un mapeo de ganglio centinela para realizar la estadificación quirúrgica de su enfermedad. Este tipo de procedimiento está ganando aceptación pues ha mostrado ser equivalente a la linfadenectomía tradicional en cuanto a sobrevida y con una menor morbimortalidad asociada. El caso busca ilustrar los beneficios y utilidad de la valoración ganglionar con un abordaje mínimamente invasivo.
