I would like to address two recent studies that examine the determinants of mortality in patients with heart failure (HF) across different geographical contexts. While reviewing the journals Nature and MetroCiencia, I found it rewarding to compose this letter to the editor, utilizing both references to enhance our understanding of mortality in HF patients. We commend the authors of each publication for their contributions. The primary objective of this letter is to highlight the valuable insights provided by both studies for the academic community.
